Cast powerful spells, slay fantastical monsters, discover ancient secrets, and ultimately save the world—just by picking up the right cards.
The music of Card of Darkness is inspired by our favorite retro RPGs, Switched-On synth experiments, fits of danger and wonder, and the innocence of early drum machines. It is literally impossible for me to pick one favorite track from this game, all of the music is my favorite! However, if I did have to pick one, I'd pick First Steps. It's the perfect introduction to the grand journey that Celeste is and is really nostalgic to me, reminding me of when I first found Celeste Classic and discovered there was a much larger adventure with Madeline waiting for me at the peak of Celeste Mountain!
